Car Wash Ministry Launched
One Saturday, a group of Experiencing God Through Missions Inc volunteers were holding a car wash to raise funds for Wyoming Mission 2009. As they were washing the last car for the day, the driver happened to mention that he was getting married in about an hour. They learned that he was a Christian and asked if they could pray with him. He agreed so the volunteers formed a circle and prayed for this man, his new bride and their future life.
Later, God impressed upon the heart of one of the volunteers that the car washing should be a ministry. Now, each time a car is washed, the driver receives a gift bag containing a salvation bracelet, an Invitation CD by Rick Warren and a package of light bulbs with powerful gospel presentation attached.
