Afton, Wyoming was the place of my birth.  Being the oldest of seven boys, I was required to work closely with my Mother.  She was a devout Mormon and raised her boys to be the same. 

Our family moved to the Cache Valley area of Utah to farm.  We went to public school during the week and attended Mormon services on Sunday.  Mother was very involved in the works of the church, which meant I was left in charge many times when I really wanted just to be a kid.  Resentment began to creep in and there began my unknowing search for something better.

Nov 2, 2009 The Climb Have you ever been so long in a valley, that you forgot you were in one? Well, that's where I was. God is an "On Time God" and I can tell you from personal experience, His time, is not our time. Thus began my journey out of the valley and it started with an innocent phone call….

My friend, Sheryl Lyda called to see if I happened to have or know of anyone that would let her use a spare trailer to haul a load of building material for a mission trip to Wyoming.

Sept 27, 2009 Where is God Recently this ministry team returned from a two-week journey through Wyoming. With over 97,000 square miles and a population of over 532,000, Wyoming is a sprawling mass of land, where a 10,000 acre ranch is considered a small ranch.  While sparse in population in comparison to its size, Wyoming is short in other areas: churches and people equipped to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
