This review must start with a thank you from the bottom of my heart and there are not enough words to express my appreciation for your dedication to this ministry during the year of 2009! Whether you worked 'out front' where your work was very visible or 'behind the scenes' and was 'seldom seen', nothing would have been accomplished without everyone working together as a team. Once again THANK YOU!

My first thought was to write a report about the thousands upon thousands of hours donated by our volunteers and missionaries during 2009. Then I realized the report would be hundreds of pages in length. The old adage that a 'picture is worth a thousand words,' is certainly true here. Plus, we are starting to add photos of mission projects from 'yesteryear.'

Missions requires money. A special thank you to those that provided the financial gifts during 2009 to make all this happen. We know that some gave from their God supplied abundance and many gave sacrificially from what God supplied.

As Henry Blackaby taught in the Experiencing God study, when God reveals where He is working, that is our invitation to join him. Here is a quick overview of where we feel that God is leading the Experiencing God Through Missions Inc teams to assist in 2010.

• Calvary Baptist Church, Monmouth, IL
• Cornerstone Praise & Worship Church, Grantsville, WVA
• Freedom Biker Church, Candler, NC
• South Mountain Baptist Camp,
  Morganton, NC
• Briggs Project, Weaverville, NC
• Tentative - work with church in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
• Fabrication & Installation of at least 4 handicap ramps in western North Carolina
• Distribution of 5,000 evangelistic Gift Packs
• Conduct 15 Faith Sharing Workshops

As details are firmed up, they will be posted on the website at www.egtminc.com/projects. Beginning in January, monthly meetings will be held to bring you the latest information.

Many ministries, such as Goodwill and the Salvation Army have Thrift Stores which sells merchandise to help support their mission work. Encouraged by many, Experiencing God Through Missions Inc has our 'store.' But not just one store, many stores. As this is being written, over 75 stores now support our mission projects. Within a few days that number will exceed over 200 stores and eventually reach 600 or more!

To shop at these stores, click on the Affiliates tab. Each time you make a purchase at one of our online Affiliate stores, they donate a portion of that sale to support Experiencing God Through Missions Inc. We are praying that enough people will shop at these stores so that our teams can build  a new 'frontier' style church, once a month, in one of the spiritually dark zones. You can help us reach this goal, at no cost to you, by encouraging your friends to patronize these Affiliate stores.

We are thrilled to welcome Ms Penny Briggs to our Board of Directors. Her enthusiasm for our Lord's work is going to propel Experiencing God Through Missions Inc to heights we never dreamed possible!

Watch for the launch of a 'blog' called Acts-One-Eight-Ministry. This is a blog that will be read by people around the world. It's entire purpose is to report how God is working through His people. It will be their stories, in their words. For security purposes, their name and location can be withheld at their request.

To launch Mission 2010, we need to have a strong financial finish to 2009. If you haven't given a financial gift to Experiencing God Through Missions Inc during the past year, please consider doing so now. Remember, all gifts postmarked by December 31, 2009 can be tax deductible for this year.

As our mission projects are spreading far and wide, our volunteers and supporters will have to come from 'far and wide.' In additional to our normal means of informing people of our mission opportunities, we have developed two new resources. We will be adding contact information from people that has expressed an interest in missions. This information will be coming through a major denominational connection. Next, our volunteer opportunities will be posted on an international 'bulletin board,' through VolunteerMatch.org
